Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States with the exception of skin cancer. About 1 in every 8 women will be diagnosed and it also affects over 2600 men per year. Breast cancer treatment has been rapidly evolving over the last 10 years. Radiation therapy plays an important role in most breast cancer treatments. It is a form of cancer treatment that applies x-rays to the areas at risk of containing cancer cells. Our center is on the cutting edge of technology in Connecticut.
