Charu Singh M.D.

Dr. Singh obtained her medical degree from the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, India. After medical school, she completed her first Radiation Oncology residency at Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital, India in 2014. She joined St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN and completed Pediatric Radiation Oncology Fellowship with experience in pediatric tumor and proton therapy in 2017. After this she joined Yale University as a Stereotactic Radiosurgery Fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery and Radiation Oncology and completed her fellowship in 2019. She then did an internship in General Surgery for a year at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and a second residency in Radiation Oncology at Yale University. During her time as a fellow and a resident physician in the United Staes her research focused on pediatric brain tumors, stereotactic radiosurgery for brain metastases with immunotherapy, cancer disparities in radiosurgery and glioblastoma. She was also the lead resident for brachytherapy workshops for gynecologic cancers.
Dr. Singh is currently practicing general radiation oncology of adult cancer patients with an emphasis on gynecological, central nervous system, gastrointestinal, thoracic, and breast cancers. She is an expert in stereotactic radiosurgery and is dedicated to the treatment of cancer with advanced technology that maximizes outcomes and minimizes side effects.
